'Fast-growing' dengue cluster detected in Yio Chu Kang, 135 cases reported

The National Environment Agency has identified a rapidly growing dengue cluster in Yio Chu Kang, with 135 confirmed cases and several clusters in the vicinity.

'Fast-growing' dengue cluster detected in Yio Chu Kang, 135 cases reported

As of July 6, the National Environment Agency (NEA) has reported a total of 17 dengue clusters across the region, with 7 of these located in the Yio Chu Kang and Seletar-Serangoon areas.

The rise in cases has prompted health authorities to increase surveillance and preventive measures to curb the spread of the virus.

Residents are advised to take precautions against mosquito breeding and to seek medical attention if they exhibit symptoms of dengue.
